It has been a lovely day. I worked most of the day, and I suppose the only bad part about that was the noise from the construction outside. Then I drove to Boynton Beach for a support group at Bethesda Hospital. We had a wonderful discussion about how Bariatric Vitamins differ from regular vitamins. We talked about putting health and nutrition before unhealthy habits. We talked about the importance of vitamins and proper diet post op.
I got home at 8:30 and my neighbor was standing against the railing. She said she had been standing there every evening for 3 days. She wanted to show me something in the sky that she thought looked like a plane, but hadn’t moved for 3 days. She asked if I had noticed it, I said no. She said it’s behind a cloud now.
She talked about her arthritis and said her back hurts and her feet hurt and her hands hurt. She said old age is not what it’s cracked up to be. I asked her how old she is and she said 83. She said she guessed it was strange for me to be talking to someone so old. “I thought of my sweet Granny here”
I smiled at her and assured her, I loved talking with her and listening to her. She told me if I ever get lonely to come visit her and talk to her in 421. I think I might bring her some of my soup tomorrow.
There is nothing in this world like the heart of babies and folks like 421… I will have to ask 421 her name tomorrow.. I did not think of it tonight. I was too busy listening.
Have a wonderful night.. with many sweet dreams.
Have a healthy day!
