I have one more Grandson to introduce you to, and that is Cruz Alexander Gonzalez. Cruz means cross. Cruz is my middle grandson, and he is also the quietest. He hardly ever says anything, but he laughs and smiles constantly. He is attached to his ma and hardly gives anyone else any attention. Before I came to visit this time my dad told me on the phone that Cruz probably would not have anything to do with me, since it has been so long since he saw me… well I guess that makes these photos priceless…..
Cruz has these deep brown almond shaped eyes that tell a story of their own. To look into his eyes is to fall in love with him. Like I said, I never dreamed I would be a grandmother at such a young age, but my grandchildren are such a blessing in my life.
It’s funny how people associate being a grandparent with getting older. But one day with Cruz and I feel years younger. His laughter and smile just does that to my soul. The doctors have told my daughter Megan that Cruz maybe autistic. The reasons being that he hasn’t spoken much at the age of 2, and that he does little things like separate his foods into little piles before he eats it and he likes getting in tight enclosed spaces. I guess maybe it might be so, but I just see him as my Cruzito and that means little Cruz.
He is a vegetarian already and that is pretty obvious. Megan puts meat on his plate for every meal, and he eats the vegetables and fruit and the bread. LOL. I swear I had nothing to do with that, it just happened.
It is pretty amazing to watch Cruz and his mama. I have never seen so much love between a child and his mother.
They say the baby doesn’t talk much, but what I want you to know is that he said TT the entire time I was there. I felt so loved. I walked around one day just carrying him around and the entire time he kept saying TT, TT.
Whenever I want a quiet moment of love and solitude I just grab this boy up and love on him, and he gladly returns the love. 😉
